It's a rare photo, and a very proud one. Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren stood on either side of their son Charlie as he made his college golf plans official.

What happened?

On Friday, Charlie, 17, signed his commitment to play golf at Florida State University (FSU) at the Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Woods, 50, and Nordegren, 46, were both there, smiling, and all three wore FSU gear.

Nordegren's boyfriend, former NFL player Jordan Cameron, joined them too. So did three children, also dressed in FSU merchandise. Charlie's sister Sam, 18, is the other child the exes share.

Charlie had already announced a verbal commitment in February with an Instagram post: "Excited to announce my commitment to play golf at Florida State University — go Noles!" His dad commented underneath: "Congratulations, Charlie. I'm so proud of you on entering this next chapter of your life."

Why is everyone talking about it?

Because photos of the two together are not that common. Woods and Nordegren divorced in 2010, after news of his infidelity broke in 2009, and they have co-parented ever since.

Still, this is not their first family moment. In February, they posed for photos at Charlie's championship ring ceremony, after the Benjamin School boys' team won the 2025 state title in Florida's Class 1A. In December 2024, Woods played the PNC Championship in Orlando with Charlie, while Sam caddied for them. Video from that event showed Nordegren hugging Woods and patting him on the back.

At another ring ceremony, after the team's November 2023 state win, they posed separately with their son.

What's next?

Next up for Charlie is the move to Florida State and the start of his college golf career.

On the personal side, Woods is dating Vanessa Trump. Page Six reported the relationship in March 2025, and a source said then that it was "not too serious" but "heading in that direction." The same insider described them as "a good match" who "like to avoid drama."
