Writer Alexander Tsypkin becomes the voice of a video tour of 50 Russian museums
Writer and screenwriter Alexander Tsypkin narrates "50 Museums", a new VK Video project. The first four video tours of Russian museums are already online.

Fancy a museum visit without leaving the sofa? Russian writer and screenwriter Alexander Tsypkin is now the narrator of "50 Museums", a new project on VK Video (a Russian video platform).
Each episode is a video tour of a well-known museum in the country, voiced by Tsypkin in his own style. He promises to point out unusual details on paintings, rare exhibits and stories that change how you see familiar images.
The first four episodes are already available. They cover the Darwin Museum, the Bulgakov Museum "Bad Apartment" (the setting of the author's novel The Master and Margarita), the Yaroslavl Museum and the Museum of Oriental Art.
Tsypkin says art lets people discover the inner worlds and souls of others. In his view, that knowledge gives people a unique advantage in the age of artificial intelligence. "In everything else, the machine is stronger than us," he said.
