Cyclists along Seoul's Han River are getting a proper pit stop. The city says it will open the Jamsil Han River Bike Station on 14 November, right in front of the Jamsil pier of the Hangang Bus (Seoul's river commuter ferry, which launched in October 2025).

It is free and open every day from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Inside, you'll find bike repair tools and first-aid kits for quick fixes, plus a space to rest. Riders can bring a bike aboard the Hangang Bus and use the station after getting off, or stop by while cycling the riverside path before boarding.

A second station near the Ttukseom pier is due to be finished later this month. To mark the Jamsil opening, the city will hold a cycling event in Jamsil Han River Park on 14 November for 100 citizens, with repair lessons, safety education and a group ride, run by the Seoul Sports Council.
